Re: Weirdest Things You've Ever Done in Video Games

In sim city 4 once (it's still good after over a decade) I was playing through a heavily modded game, to the point that I had about 62GB of mods installed on a~0.5GB game... I was building a commuter city for a ~70 million population city next door, and I'd started with a large amount of medium dens...

Re: Facades

I 'came out' about being a dragon when I was around 14/15. I can agree with Ishiah about tending to be very open. After that point I realised I didn't particularly care what the majority of people thought (they already thought I was a reclusive maniac), in the end the people I had been close friends...

Re: (NSFW Possibly) What makes dragons attractive?

I'd agree with "EVERYTHING"; there are lots of factors, however in another sense it could be on an individualistic basis for each dragon. While I can't pin down 'what makes them attractive' overall (personally I'd use the argument: why does a human find another attractive? And then apply with dragon...

Re: Facades

Ah, I understand now. I do that sometimes in a sense that I tend to try and appear very confident in my knowledge about topics, especially the sciences. In reality I get quite concerned about my own capabilities in that respect, it causes a certain anxiety/fear that I conceal to others.

Re: Facades

So when you mean facade, you are referring more to complete behavioural falsities that are put up in any physical social interaction where personalality can be connected with identity; exception to the facade only existing in places of anonymity. Rather than social alterations due to societal norms?...

Re: Facades

I don't know if it would be considered a facade, but I definitely behave in specific ways in front of people that I am unacquainted with or in public. ie I believe I tend to be much more brusque, flamboyant and aparent as eccentric. At first I did it because it's enjoyable, like dressing up for an o...

Re: Gaming Stories

The other day I was quite happy; having finally managed to beat Devil May Cry 3 (original) on 'Dante Must Die!' difficulty (for reference it's generally considered the most difficult game of the series), the final fight with Vergil on DMD mode is generally considered the most difficult boss fight in...

Re: (Maybe NSFW) Modification and Augmentation

I'd most likely go full way if possible; wings, muzzle, scales, tail, etc...
Viable from either a genetic engineering route or cybernetics... I'd choose genetics, however the possibilities that cybernetics offer are quite broad in contrast with current technology.

Re: When did you start liking dragons so much?

Ah, so sections have literally just been copied... That's a shame, I'd heard quite a bit about it from other people. Then again none of them have read the earthsea books.

Re: When did you start liking dragons so much?

To me I don't mind if there is some form of plagiarism, of course, the sources should be given credit; if it's a good book though, then it is still worth reading. I look at it like this - at some point or another one work has copied another, one invention has built upon another. For example, I could...

Re: When did you start liking dragons so much?

As bizarre as this may be, I've never read the inheritance cycle, is it a good book series? I've heard so from some people that it's good, but that it tapers off in the later books apparently.

Re: When did you start liking dragons so much?

When I was young I don't really remember directly loving dragons, however I always had strange desires to have wings and things which most people found strange, so I didn't really talk about it. When I was a bit older, I found myself drawing (or at least attempting) dragons and reading anything I co...
