Herpy.nu is now closed and archived - will be replaced by something new and better.

Herpy has had a good 13 year run and will never be forgotten for those of us who experienced it. Sadly the site is today unappealing and is no longer fit for the audience of 2018. The gallery will remain operational until further notice. You can follow me on Twitter for further developments. We also have a Discord server which has become the heart of the community. If you wish to join it, send me a PM over Twitter.

Kind regards,
Valcyrie

Re: Shadowfire Sneakpeak

Update:

I am finished with the rough translation of the entire thing, and am looking desperately for help in correcting any spelling and grammar mistakes, as well as any weird phrasing.
If someone wants to help me, pm me in discord!

Thanks again to all who are interested and helped me so far!

Prologue: Nightmares “In blinding light they waited, for the time of shadows to come.” - Chronicles of the Collapse, Volume II An icy blue face was floating before me. Re: Dragon Cleaning

By pyrolysis Because dragons are just that hot That actually would work... except the odd stuck piece of bark or whatnot. Heh, just depends on the temperature. Hot enough and you'll incinerate everything. Chances are including yourself, but what do dragons got those scales for? Thanks for the answe...

Re: Dragon Cleaning

I like the resin one. Might be worth adapting... aaaaaanyway Thanks for the quick answers! Of course it depends on the dragons habitat, but even there are different options. Also I'd wonder how "shedding" works for a dragon. I always imagined it, rather than loosing whole "patches", or the entire sk...

Dragon Cleaning

This is a rather random topic, but one that came to my head and now won't leave me alone: How do dragons clean themselves? How would a dragon be cleaned? Do you have to make sure to get rid of old scales, scrub his hide.... how would dragon body hygiene work? Just post your ideas and theories, the m...

Re: What do you drive?

Oh don't get me wrong. I admire old cars, love to hear a strong engine roar... but I couldn't drive with them, not with the same fun that I have driving a bike. But thats just a personal thing ;) Even your "rust bucket" has a charm to it (somehow the one thing popping in my mind is "Flatout" (the ga...

No, I don't have a car... everything with more then two wheels is way too boring. A car moves your body and your cargo, and does that really good. But a bike will move your sou...
