Herpy.nu is now closed and archived - will be replaced by something new and better.

Herpy has had a good 13 year run and will never be forgotten for those of us who experienced it. Sadly the site is today unappealing and is no longer fit for the audience of 2018. The gallery will remain operational until further notice. You can follow me on Twitter for further developments. We also have a Discord server which has become the heart of the community. If you wish to join it, send me a PM over Twitter.

Undertale anyone?

Post by Dragonhunter4321 » August 2nd, 2016, 5:28 am

Who loves this game as much as I do? ... probably everyone who has ever played it
... I just want to put this up to start discussion up. The beauty a few people can make... undertake has no equal in my opinion when it comes to the prefect mixture of gameplay, story, and humor.
It is also the only game I've played where I root for the enemy... by far...

Oh boy X3
We had a thread like this on the old forums, actually. And I'm sure this one will start a discussion as quickly as the last one!!

I for my part have played the game and valued it deeply.
Its atmosphere has drawn me in for many hours of fun, but also given me an emotional ride that no other game could quite achieve in such a fashion.

I've played neutral and pacifist, but could not convince myself to dare and go genocide route ... *sigh*

I have played through the pacifist route and I absolutely love the characters and story. I was one of the people that went and watched a playthrough before getting the game myself. Honestly it just made me all the more excited to play it myself. And don't even get me started on the music! <3 Those that know me well can definitely tell you I am an absolute fangirl of Undertale. I am currently trying to attempt the genocide run, however me being a bad, slow gamer with small, awkward laptop arrow keys is not good with a certain undying character. And why am I playing the genocide route, well, why does anyone else? *Megalovania intensifies* ^w^

The genocide run is long and boring, and it makes you kill everyone you love and care for, but it changes your outlook of the characters greatly. Undine is one of the most -excuse my French- Badass characters in video games. And it's all through a 2D platform.
Then you have sans... just a warning, you might not get past him with the pitiful controls of a laptop. Everything else becomes super easy

Also, I love the game so much I actually have asriel as my avatar...:D

I didn't get into this game until a few months ago after being bombarded with memes on the internet. I thought it was interesting at first but as the story progressed I got more into it. When I finished the normal run I was like what the hell just happened. After getting the true pacifist run it became one of my favorite games of this gen.

Hey, you have your opinions, but like everything you don't have to be a jerk about it. We have enough of that with Trump right now :/

So if you don't like the game then follow the forums suggestion and get on with your life... and to awser your question, no I wasn't OP... I just saw that the topic wasn't up yet

Undertale trash appears

Warning, fanboy scream inbound take shelter now !

Man this game just flipped the entire internet on it's back, and then matpat gave it to the pope .
But seriously this has to be my second favorite game of all time (yes that includes Pong) then think just a few people (excluding patreon) made this happen .

( Also Tem for president of the United States after all (s)he has gone to cooleg )

Well I have finally made it to the Sans fight. Took me a good while, but we'll see how long it takes me to kill him XD.

Uh, Mallis, do you think I need a time-machine to skip forwards to when you're done? :D
